The North Perth map comprises an older, inner-city urban area bounded by Walcott St to the north, Charles St to the west, Vincent St in the south and Fitzgerald St on the east. There are several small parks, two primary schools, shops, restaurants and small industrial premises.

The first event for the 2022/23 Metro Season was held at Yuluma Primary School and heavily advertised by Archie (via posters and PA announcements at the School) and on Facebook with many sharing the post. I'll estimate the success of this advertising by how many new faces were present, lots - but the Marketing people can quantify.

Murray Valley
Continuing with what is now tradition - the MTBO season pushing into October - we finally got to have the WA MTBO Long Champs. With the bridge repaired and the river crossing not flooded, riders finally got to enjoy Murray Valley South on a new map made by Duncan Sullivan. Lots of fast purpose-built mountain bike trails and one-way systems all made for a good long distance with plenty of route choice.
