Sunday 7th July 2019

Red Hill, John Forrest National Park NE RedHill 2019

Over 100 people came to Red Hill on Sunday - a winter's day perfect for orienteering and getting time in Nature. There was a smattering of wildflowers  – Hibbertia, Hovea and others – and the flowing creeks provided some fun for the younger juniors. The juniors were well represented, with a bus load coming from the Junior O camp to hone their skills.

Thanks to Rachel West, whose training courses from early 2018 were used as the base for some of the H courses. Thanks also to Helen and Ken Post, setter and controller respectively, and the small number of WOW members who either came early or stayed on to help. We were all packed up and on the way home by 2.30pm.
