malmallingFinishSW Malmalling, east of Mundaring

Finally it’s started raining! Luckily we managed to hold this event in a window of fine weather, but it was nice to see the creeks running and to hear the frogs making a racket in the puddles. Or should that be kids making a racket in the puddles?

Malmalling is always tougher than it seems it should be and the ever present grass trees appeared to frustrate the best efforts of some on the day.

A big thanks to the KO Kake Stall providers and special mention to all of our control collectors – John and Jenny Major, Sten and Ruben Claessens (and teddy), Kate, Lachlan and Rohan Braid, Dave Pass and Wendy Hobley, Veronika Vavrova, Vanessa Smith, Russell Candy and Heike Behrbohm.  We managed to get everything back and packed up just before the next deluge.
