Warranine, near Bakers Hill

After a rather cool start to the day (minus 2c driving through Wooroloo) the day turned into a sunny autumn day and 81 people enjoyed the ideal conditions. The map area used was part of that used for the 2014 Australian Champs and provided a mix of technical terrain and open running.

Thanks to Helen & Ken Post as organisers and for collecting and towing the caravan to the event and Dan Greig for the return. Ken with Dave McCauley also had the task of digging the loos into the “concrete” soil, still unsoftened following about 10 mm of rain on Thursday. Thanks also to Gary Aitken for his assistance and Dave & Daisy for erecting the shelter with the assistance of Hubert Day.

Anne Austin, Carol Brownlie and Helen Post shared the instruction duties. Control collecting was borne by Helen & Ken Post, Dan Greig, Carol Brownlie, David, Rosalie & Daisy McCauley and special thanks to both Jenny & Peter Komyshan for venturing back into the “jungle”.
Also thanks to Gina for T/A duties in the rain on Thursday and Cassie for driving me out close to the water control sites.
