tomanddaisyJolly Jackadder Japers Novelty event

On a windy Sunday morning 70 orienteers got into the Christmas spirit at the Novelty Orienteering event set by the Two Terrifying Teachers: Tom Brownlie and Daisy McCauley.

The event featured fun for the whole family with a Christmas String Course, Sprint component, colouring in and enough controls and clues, with varying answers, to have the various mathematicians, grammarians and chemists at the event scratching their heads. Tom and Daisy would like to thank everyone for being fantastic competitors and seeing the jolly side of the event.

Congratulations to:

  • Rosalie McCauley and Christine Howitt, Edward Finnie and Nicole Davis (1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively)
  • Graeme Harris for visiting 'every' control
  • Ricky Thackray for dressing up as a Christmas tree
  • Tyler Eves and Edward Finnis (1st and 2nd on the sprint)
  • Sarah Richards and Archie Brownlie for their fabulous colouring in

And everyone who came along, had a laugh and made this event worth all the late nights :)

Cheers and see you in the New Year, Tom and Daisy.
