Troy Park, Burke Drive, Attadale
The MTBO season opened on Sunday 2 April with a scatter time limited event using MapRun in Attadale and Applecross. The event attracted over 50 participants with many new to MTBO. Although MapRun challenges make the point results questionable, the 39 controls provided a solid challenge within the two hour time limit.
The day’s success relied on the good natured approach of all participants, the methodical and patient MapRun support of Jack Dowling, the mentorship of Hadrien Devillepoix, and the on site generous assistance of Duncan Sullivan. And of course a big effort from the event organisers, Debbie McKay and Graham Smith.
A great start to the MTBO season!
