Woodlake Village Community Centre, Ellenbrook

Riley McFarlane and Matt Seward hosted the second MetrO event for 2022-23 at Ellenbrook. Updating the map was very challenging for various reasons, but the end result was an arena that should be the gold standard for all MetrO events from now on.

Matt was the brains behind the compact arena looking over the pavilion, using two finish controls, and using the start clock for creating that adrenaline-rushing atmosphere reminiscent of Short O & Relay events. Feedback from overall course winners was extremely positive, indicating that it was a highly valued competition and a casual fun event alike.

Thanks go to all those who helped with the running of the event, from setting up to packing up. Special thanks to Riley McFarlane and Matt Seward.
