MetrO Series Event 9 Rockingham

Saturday 18th January

Rotary Park, The Esplanade, Rockingham

 This week's MetrO event moves to Rockingham for a trip to the beach. The map features a mix of sand, complex streets, canals, parks and several lakes so there is a wide variety of terrain to explore.  Please note that the medium and long courses will be slightly longer (1-2km) than usual in order to get runners into the more interesting parts of the map.
Dogs and prams are very welcome at this event although dogs are not allowed on the beach (beach running is completely optional).
Come down and make an evening of it with the Rockingham Twilight Markets at nearby Bell Park (alongside the beach, next to the commercial strip) until 8pm.

 Remember to bring:
- Drinking water;
- Your SI Card if you have one - or borrow one at registration; and
- Your MetrO Series Season Ticket, if you have one. These Tickets now cost $50 for adults and $25 for concessions and can be purchased via Eventor or at the event..

Registration open: 4.00pm - 5.00pm
Beginners briefing: 4.45pm
Start time: 5pm
Courses close: 6.15pm
Event type: Mass start scatter event with 3 courses (2-3 km, 4-6 km, & 7-8 km in length).
