 MTBO Guided Tour

Natasha Sparg, your accredited Level 1 Mountain Bike Coach, will run a 'Guided Tour' before this event (11-12 am). We will take you for a short social ride, enhancing up some bike handling skills and building confidence with navigation skills along the way. This is for people who are new to mountain biking or orienteering or who would just like a social ride. Assembly area: as for the Carinyah MRBO event
Guided Tour Start: Meet at 10:30 am for a 11 start. Ride will take about an hour, then we'll return to the start location, have some lunch, and then use your new skills in the afternoon's MTBO event.

E-bikes with be allowed at this event too!

Mountain Bike Orienteering Event

The usual 3 courses, but now lekky treddlies (aka E-bikes) are allowed in their own categories. The terrain is pleasant rolling forestry tracks with a smattering of trail bike and 4WD complications, some pea gravel and gumnuts in places and a few short, steep hills. The long course has an option on part of the famous Munda Biddi Track.

Course registration times: 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
Start times: 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Courses close: 4:00 pm
Please return to the assembly area by this time even if you haven't completed your course.
