Mountain bike orienteering gives you the chance to combine your map reading skills, route choice decisions and bike riding ability. Like foot orienteering, the idea is to navigate your way around a series of controls using a map and compass. Unlike foot orienteering, the idea is to ride a bike! Shorter courses are easily achievable by beginners, non-mountain bikers and families so they are suitable for participants of all ages and abilities.
