Friday 7th July to Sunday 9th July 2017

OWA will be hosting a mountain bike skills camp in Pemberton for anyone who wants to:

  • feel more confident on a mountain bike
  • feel more confident navigating
  • enjoy their MTB or MTBO more!

MTBOKangarooGully2websiteThis three day camp is for all levels and abilities, catering to the absolute beginners through to experts. Our National MTBO Superstar and 2017 Australian Team member for the MTBO World Championship , Ricky Thackray, will be coaching. This will be a great opportunity for juniors and adults alike to hone their bike handling skills and route choice in the lead up to the WA MTBO Championships. The three days will consist of bike handling, navigation and a mini-score course at the Pemberton Mountain bike park, all in a safe and friendly environment.

The camp is situated next to the Pemberton Mountain Bike park with it's own skills loop and is close to town and all amenities. Its a fantastic place to learn how to mountain bike - don't fret if you don't have a working bike, bikes are available to hire for $20 per day.

Costs are $20 per junior per night and $35 per adult per night at the Pemberton Camp School. We need at least one adult per family group of children for safety. Bring your own food and drink, kitchen and BBQ facilities are available. Come along, join in and have a great weekend.
