The Swan Valley Adventure Centre is situated next to the Swan River in Middle Swan with 89 acres of park and bushland, with several, magnificent old buildings it is a perfect place for a Sprint orienteering map. The Swan River runs alongside the property and Jane Brook runs through the middle of this map, whch was prepared for the Championship. It will be a great opportunity to experience this area for the first time with challenging route choices. Views over the more open areas of the map from the assembly area will be enjoyable for spectators too!

Start Times: EOD After the last Championship starter
Note: Entries on the day will not be official, will not qualify for the State Orienteering League and earn OY points, and not all courses will be available for EOD.

Course 2 - (W21, W17-20, W16, W35, W45, W55, M16, M55, M65, M70, M21B),

Course 3 - (W14, W65, W70, W75, W80, M14, M75, M80, W21B),
Course 4 -  (W-10, W-12, M-10, M-12.)

The Course Setter is Tony Simpkins, who has mapped and set many NavDash events and high-level Sprint events – remember the Australian Sprint Championships at York and Mandurah, and Sprint the South West. The Controller is Dan Greig.

Event Directions in Eventor

Directions: The Centre is located on Yule Avenue, Middle Swan. Enter Yule Ave from Reid Highway 200m West of the junction with Great Northern Highway, and follow signs for approx. 350m, then turn right into the parking area. From the carpark, cross the oval and follow signs to the assembly area.

Out of bounds: The whole area is out of bounds, except for the Assembly area and the carpark. Warm up on the oval between the car park and assembly area..
