Warranine bush event

Sunday 4th & Monday 5th June 2017

This two event is a popular and regular feature on the WA orienteering calendar and everyone is welcome. This is a two Day event with cumulative times used to decide the places over the two races. This year it will be held on a farmland area which has a mixture of bush, dense strands in part and open terrain which is generally fast running. Make a weekend of it and enjoy camping on Sunday evening.

There will be no Pre-Entry for this event. There is no requirement to enter any specific course based on age grouping. You are welcome to enter just one of the days but of course you will not be eligible for the two Day results. Note that courses are set at 80% of the standard distance so running two days is possible!

Take care while on your course as all the controls for both days will be out there on Day 1 (Sunday afternoon). There will be many controls out as part of the Day 2 event, which generally won’t be yours, so please check the control numbers to avoid mispunching.
