SATURDAY 20 FEBRUARY 2016

Come down to the river this week for a Metro Series event plus bonus post event Sausage Sizzle hosted by the Curtin University Boat Club

The event will start from Curtin University Boat Club, corner of Elderfield Rd and Fairview Garden, Salter Point with registration open from 4.15pm and a mass start at 5pm. With a short, medium or long course available you can select a distance to suit either running or walking pace. Post event stay for the Sausage Sizzle. Don’t forget proceeds from the drinks for sale at the event each week go towards our Numbats, Orienteering WA’s junior development squad

Curtin University Boat Club is an emerging rowing club affiliated with Curtin University located on the banks of the Canning River catering all members of the community and for all rowers of varying skill, fitness and ages. CUBC would like to extend an invitation to all Orienteering WA members and event participants to come for a Learn to Row Session with the club if they are interested. Further information will be available at the event.

Beginner? If you haven’t tried orienteering before, then our relaxed and easy to learn Metro events are a great place to start. Free instruction is included so make sure you arrive in time to register before attending the beginners briefing at 4:45pm. There is no pre-event registration required so simply turn up on the day to give orienteering a try this weekend.
