The Hill Park Dale map is noted for its beautiful rolling hills, complex granite outcrops, remnant bush land and fantastic orienteering. Previous national events have been run on this map and received positive reviews all around.
Set on farmland with large tracts of natural bush, it can be accessed from the Brookton Hwy off the Beverley-West Dale Rd.
There will be a full range of courses including courses with navigation considered to be “Very easy”, “Easy” and “Medium difficulty”; as well as four courses of varying lengths with a “Hard” degree of navigation. Expert orienteers will be on hand to help new or inexperienced orienteers.
Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy a delightful drive to the countryside with the added bonus of a great orienteering event. All welcome.
