Four Western Australian orienteers made podium appearances at the recent 2014 Easter 3 Day Orienteering Carnival held in NSW. The Easter 3 Day Carnival is an international event, and as the name suggests is run over three days requiring competitors to put in a consistent effort.
In what was a family affair Oscar McNulty came in second in the Junior Elites, while his mother Anthea Feaver also took silver in the Women’s 50 category. Carol Brownlie and Kjell Winther also made the podium with their second placings in the Women’s 60 category and Mens 65 category respectively.
Oscar’s younger brother Henry, came in a very credible 4th also in the Junior Elites and thus earned himself a spot alongside Oscar in the Australian Junior orienteering team.  The Junior team will be travelling to Bulgaria in July to compete in the Junior World Orienteering Championships.
