Head down to Bunbury this weekend for a weekend full of orienteering. On Saturday, it is the first State O League event with the first OY (Orienteer of the Year) points to be awarded in 2014 at the Australind High School NavDash. A NavDash event is a relatively short event, with easy navigation on a complex map. They are simple and fun at slower speeds, but when sprinting and trying to find many controls in quick succession they are fast and furious.
This event is also a qualifying event for juniors wishing to make the State team.
That will be followed with a bush/farmland event on Sunday at the beautiful Evedon Ridge.
Accommodation is available in Bunbury or at Evedon Park Bush Resort, near the Sunday event.
