Mullalloo

The final MetrO Series event for the 2013/2014 season will start from Charonia Park, Mullalloo on Saturday 22nd February. The competition will be on a new map by Ricky Thackray, and will decide the overall Series categories.

The event is of course very suitable for beginners and no previous orienteering experience is necessary, therefore members of the public are most welcome to come and try orienteering.

Registration will be open from 4.15pm until the Start at 5.00pm, but newcomers should arrive at least 10 minutes before the beginners briefing at 4.45pm to allow time to register.

There will be three courses available, of 2-3kms, 5-6kms, and 7-8kms, and more useful information for beginners, including a description of the event and a sample map, is available at the Urban Event Guide page.

There will be a short break after this event, before the first NavDash event of 2014 at Joondalup Learning Precinct on 8th March.
