Midland Sports Complex, Middle Swan

The MetrO Series this weekend heads to the Midland Sports complex with plenty of ovals, sporting fields and creeks offering plenty of options to find your required amount of controls.

No previous orienteering experience is necessary, and members of the public are welcome at this event. There will be a briefing for beginners at approximately 4.30pm.  More information for beginners is available at the MetrO Series page.

There will be three courses on offer of approximately 3km, 5km and 8km's. Registration will be open from 4.00pm to 4.50pm, with a start time of 5pm.

Directions: From the Northern suburbs get onto Reid Highway, then Roe Highway and turn right at Toodyay Rd, then left into Patterson Drive.  From the South, take Roe Highway (via Great Eastern Highway Bypass if coming from central suburbs) and turn left into Toodyay Rd.  The nearest train station is Midland (3.5kms).
