WA State Sprint Championships, Saturday 10 August 2013

THis weekend is final NavDash event for 2013 and is also the 2013 WA Sprint Orienteering Championships. Put your sprint orienteering skills to the test on a fun and interesting campus map. Enjoy this once a year chance to take part in the WA Sprint Orienteering Championship. 

Pre-entries have now closed for age class entries. Thanks to everyone who pre-entered we look forward to seeing you at the event. Start times will be posted in Eventor, emailed to competitors and posted on the website shortly.

Enter on the day (EOD): ONE enter on the day course will be available. This is a separate course to the championship courses (map will be printed on paper, byo plastic bag if required). Individual and groups are welcome for this standard NavDash style course. These competitors will be started after championship starts.

Course 1 :     2.8 km for M21, M17-20, M-35, M-45
Course 2 :     2.0 km for W21, W17-20, W-16, W-35, W45, W55, M-16, M-14, M-55, M-65
Course 3 :     1.5 km for W-65, W-75, M-75, W-14, W-12, W-10, M-12, M-10

Entry Details

Entries: Pre-entry is available via Eventor. To be eligible for the Sprint Championship you must pre-enter.

Pre-entry benefits:
•    Guaranteed pre-allocated start time
•    Plastic water proof map – no need for map bags if it is wet!
•    Eligible for Awards and Trophies

Awards will be presented in all classes and acknowledge all place-getters. To be awarded the trophy as State Champion M21 or W21 competitors must be a full financial member of OAWA and a WA resident.

Entries close: Monday 5 August 2013 at midnight.

After this time only enter on the day (EOD) for non championship entries will be available. In exceptional circumstances a late entry may be accepted and this will be entirely at the discretion of the organiser.

Event Information: Start times and any additional competition details will be sent via email to pre-entrants prior to the event, listed in Eventor and displayed at the event site.

On the Day Registration: 1.00 to 2.30pm
First EOD Start: 2.30pm (approx)
Last start: 3.00pm
Course Closure: 4.00pm

Getting There

Event is being held at the John XXIII College, off John XXIII Ave, Mt Claremont. Please park in the car park, as directed by signs and cones, and move to the assembly area. Do not enter the school and obey all out of bound signs.
