Murdoch University hosted the first of 10 sprint orienteering events to be held for the 2013 NavDash series. The map is popular, and with the WA Nomads heading to Adelaide next weekend for the first round of the 2013 National Orienteering League, the long course saw most of the team in action. Henry McNulty, 2012 State Sprint Champion took the win over Ricky Thackray with Sten Claessens in third place. First woman and fourth place overall was Rachel West.

The short course was won by Anthea Feaver, who recently dominated her age class at “Sprint the Bay” in New Zealand, winning all 6 races. She grabbed the win from Tony Simpkins, edging him out by just 6 seconds.
