South of Mount Observation

Welcome back to Wundabiniring Brook

With gentle contours and some good rock detail this is a great area for runnable orienteering. As just the second bush event for the 2024 season the courses will be towards the shorter lengths but still provide some very good navigational and physical challenges.

This event is a WA Schools Team Selection Event.

Mark, Nicole and Richard spent Saturday afternoon taping the control sites and while the bush is extremely dry, we are happy to report that all the rocks and contours are still where they should be! Some tracks are quite faint but will be taped on Easy Courses where required and the vegetation mapping is generally accurate but as ever, some thicker areas have expanded or contracted.

Pony Road is in poor shape but quite driveable - PLEASE just go slowly around the many potholes.Sun shining behing a grass tree at Wundabiniring Brook
