Maylands Foreshore Reserve

The MetrO series season finale will be held on the picturesque Maylands peninsula. The assembly area is in Maylands Foreshore Reserve overlooking the Swan River, near the popular Maylands Waterland water park. Many controls will be situated in parkland along the river and in the reserves around Lake Brearley and Lake Bungana.

Since this is the final event of the series, overall award winners will be announced after the event has concluded.

Entries are now open in Eventor.

Pre-entry closes Saturday 17th February at 4pm. You will also be able to enter at the event.

If you are not a member of OWA but would like to enter online, you will need to register an account on Eventor before completing your entry. Then, once logged into Eventor, select the event and enter and pay online. See instructions for registering for an Eventor account.

EOD (Enter on the Day) will be available at the event until 4:40pm if you are unable to enter beforehand.

Courses: Long (7-8 km, 22 controls), Medium (4-6 km, 15 controls), Short (2-3 km, 7 controls).
Beginners' briefing: 4:45pm.
Main event briefing: 4:50pm.
Start time:
5pm, mass start.
Courses close: 6:15pm. Please return to the assembly area by this time, even if you have not finished your course.
Bring: your SI card and compass if you have one, or these can be borrowed at the event. Also bring sunscreen, a hat and a water bottle, and comfortable walking or running shoes.
Parking: In bays around Robot Park, on Doryanthas Ave, Astartea Pkwy, Grasby Way or surrounding streets.
Assembly Area: Adjacent the public toilets south of the playground.
