George Burnett Park, Manning Road, Karawara

The map covers a large area of parks and suburban streets.The eastern half of the map was developed on Radburn principles with extensive linear parks behind the houses that make great route choices. Most of the map is suitable for prams and wheelchairs but some controls require crossing grassed areas.

Entries are now open in Eventor. Pre-entry closes Saturday 16th December at 4pm. You will also be able to enter at the event.

If you are not a member of OWA but would like to enter online, you will need to register an account on Eventor before completing your entry. Then, once logged into Eventor, select the event and enter and pay online. See instructions for registering for an Eventor account.

EOD (Enter on the Day) will be available at the event until 4:40pm if you are unable to enter beforehand.

Courses: Long (6-7km, 23 controls), Medium (4-5km, 16 controls), Short (2-3km, 8 controls).
Beginners' briefing: 4:45pm.
Start time: 5pm, Mass Start.
Courses close: 6:15pm. Please return to the assembly area by this time, even if you have not finished your course.
Bring: your SI card and compass if you have one, or these can be borrowed at the event. Also bring sunscreen, a hat and a water bottle, and comfortable walking or running shoes.
Assembly area: Under the trees north of (behind) the Leisure Centre, 100m from the carpark.
Parking: At the large carpark at the George Burnett Leisure Centre off Manning Road. There is a smaller carpark at the old library at the end of Goss Ave.
