Ranford Oval, Canning Vale

The assembly area and start are at Ranford Oval in Canning Vale, with the map covering the suburban streets, ovals, and parklands of Canning Vale. The course is suitable for prams and is largely wheelchair accessible.

Hot Weather Forecast - Update 25/11/23: With reference to the OWA Extreme Heat policy, this event will go ahead with the courses reduced by approximately 20% to reduce risk to competitors.

Due to the hot weather, it is highly recommended that competitors carry water with them on the course, wear a hat and choose a course with consideration of their own health needs. If you normally take more than 45 minutes on your course it is strongly recommended that if you that you choose a shorter course for this event.

Entries are now open on EventorEntries close Saturday 25th November 4pm. 

If you are not a member of OWA but would like to enter online, you will need to register an account on Eventor before completing your entry. Then, once logged into Eventor, select the event and enter and pay online. See instructions for registering for an Eventor account.

EOD (Enter on the Day) will be available at the event until 4:40pm if you are unable to enter beforehand.

Courses: Long (22 controls, approx 7-8km), Medium (15 controls, approx 4-6km), Short (6 controls, approx 2-3km).
Beginners' briefing: 4:45pm.
Start time: 5pm, Mass Start.
Courses close: 6:15pm. Please return to the assembly area by this time, even if you have not finished your course.
Bring: your SI card and compass if you have one, or these can be borrowed at the event. Also bring sunscreen, a hat and a water bottle, and comfortable walking or running shoes.
