Fleming Reserve, High Wycombe
The second event in the 2023-24 MetrO season will be held in High Wycombe, based around Fleming Reserve in the City of Kalamunda. The Reserve includes playgrounds and a skate/BMX park. Come along and explore the park and the surrounding suburbia.
Entries are now open on Eventor. Entries close Saturday 18th November 4pm.
If you are not a member of OWA but would like to enter online, you will need to register an account on Eventor before completing your entry. Then, once logged into Eventor, select the event and enter and pay online. See instructions for registering for an Eventor account.
EOD (Enter on the Day) will be available at the event until 4:40pm if you are unable to enter beforehand.
Courses: Long (22 controls, approx 8km), Medium (14 controls, approx 5km), Short (8 controls, approx 3km).
Start time: 5pm, Mass Start.
Courses close: 6:15pm. Please return to the assembly area by this time, even if you have not finished your course.
Parking and public transport: There is limited parking at Fleming Reserve. Overflow parking is on the grass around the Reserve. The closest bus stop for public transport is 300 m away from the arena on bus routes 276 and 277.
Bring: your SI card and compass if you have one, or these can be borrowed at the event. Also bring sunscreen, a hat and a water bottle, and comfortable walking or running shoes.
