North Lakes Senior Campus, Kardinya

The area was mapped in January and is a small school campus, being used for the first time. The start is adjacent to the parking area. The terrain is typical of high school campuses. As the area is small, the courses are quite short. Both the Long & Short courses will have a map flip. Please note the scale is 1:2000 with 2.5m contours. The map is A4 size.

Feel free to run a second or third course to get your full O-experience for the day. There are enough different legs across the courses to keep you interested on your second run.

This event is a WA Schools Team Selection event.

Courses: Easy (~1.3km), Short (~1.7km) and Long (~2.3km). Note these are straight line distances. Actual run distance will be within guidelines.
Registration: Enter online via Eventor prior to 5pm on 25th March (preferred), or enter at the event.
Start Times: From 9.30am to 11:30am.
Courses Close: 12:00pm. Please return to the assembly area by this time even if you haven't completed your course.

Please bring: Comfortable walking or running gear, water, sunscreen, and SI stick (loans available). There will be no water supplied on courses or at the start or finish. Please bring your own water as required.

More general information about NavDash events can be found on the OWA website, including NavDash event guidesprint orienteering tips and a sample sprint map.

NavDash event maps contain features which must not be crossed or entered, even if it is possible to do so. Check out a sample legend with uncrossable features for NavDash/sprint events, and make sure to check the legend on your map at each event!

For OWA members, the Annual General Meeting (AGM) will follow the NavDash event.
