Mt Henry Bridge Reserve, Mt Pleasant

The second MetrO event of 2023 will be held in Mount Pleasant. The assembly area is in shaded parkland overlooking the Canning River. There is parking along the Esplanade as well as in other nearby streets (Curruthers Rd and Shirley Ave). Public toilets are available at the assembly area.

The map includes mostly residential areas with some small parks and bushland around Booragoon Lake and Blue Gum Lake and along the Canning River. Mount Pleasant (elevation ~39m) is in the north of the map, but the southern part of the map is mostly flat and there are plenty of options for those preferring less climb.

Courses Short (~3km), Medium (~5km) and Long (~8km).Registration: Enter online via Eventor prior to 4pm on 14th January, or enter at the event 4–4:40pm. EFT payments available at the event.
Novice Briefing: 4:45 pm.
Start time
: Mass start at 5 pm.Courses close: At 6:15 pm. Please return to the assembly area by this time even if you have not finished your course.Facilities: Public toilet.Please bring: Comfortable walking or running gear, water (none provided), sunscreen, and SI stick (loans available).
