Manning Park, Spearwood

Manning Park offers a great opportunity to (re)introduce yourself to a bit of bush orienteering in a convenient metropolitan location. A range of courses from the beginner level through to the more advanced have been set using the lake, park and the ridge of coastal bushland with its multitude of tracks crisscrossing it. An event flyer is available.

Courses have been designed to offer a range of sights with something for everyone - regardless of age, orienteering experience or fitness level.  For those new to orienteering, coaches/instructors will be on hand to get you started.

The start and finish area is at the amphitheatre along Azelia Rd, 300 m south of Azelia Ley Homestead Museum (the displays are worth a visit after your course). There is a large, shaded playground 200 m to the north.

Pre-entry to this event via Eventor is strongly preferred. If you are not a member of OWA you will need to register an account on Eventor before completing your entry. Then, once logged into Eventor, select the event and enter and pay online.
See instructions on registering for an Eventor account here.
EOD (Enter on the Day) will be available at the event if you are unable to enter beforehand.
