Swanbourne - Claremont - Mt Claremont
Please note: Please comply with COVID-19 restrictions in place at the time of the event. It is important to practice social distancing, allowing 2 square metres per person. Also practice good hand hygiene. You are encouraged to wear a mask while mingling with others before and after the event.
The first MTBO event for 2022 will be a street scatter event, mass start, with 2 hours to collect up to 60 controls scattered through the Swanbourne, Claremont and Mt Claremont areas. Most controls do not require a mountain bike, so feel free to come along with your favourite 2 wheel companion (e-bikes allowed too!).
Pre-entry to this event via Eventor is strongly preferred. If you are not a member of OWA you will need to register an account on Eventor before completing your entry. Then, once logged into Eventor, select the event and enter and pay online.
See instructions on registering for an Eventor account here.
EOD (Enter on the Day) will be available at the event if you are unable to enter beforehand.
Start location: Lake Claremont Park, corner of Elliot Road and Lapsley Road, just north of the golf course.
Start time: Mass start at 9am.
Course closes: 11am. Please return to the assembly area by this time, even if you have not finished your course.
Bring: Your SI card if you have one, and your map board. Both of these may be borrowed at the event. Also bring a helmet, sunscreen, hat, compass and a water bottle.
More information about the event is in Eventor.
