Bob Gordon Reserve, Benningfield Rd, Bull Creek

This is a new map of the northern part of Bull Creek (Gabbiljee) that includes a small part of the previous Bull Creek MetrO map. Runners on the short course will be able to complete most of their course within parks but will need to cross one busy 50 kph road (Benningfield Road).

The medium and long course runners will traverse lots of cul de sacs and small parks joined with pedestrian links. If they venture into Bull Creek Catchment Wetlands they will find a flowing stream, dense bush along the stream, paved and unpaved tracks, and some bridges. Some of the smaller tracks (mapped as indistinct) may be difficult to negotiate with a stroller.

The assembly area is at Bob Gordon Reserve, west of the northern end of Costello Place betweenthe Scout Hall and BMX track. Toilets are 130 m east of the assembly area, on the other side of Costello Place, north of the tennis club. There is a public drinking fountain with dog bowl next to the assembly area.
