Channing Road, Gorrie

Look forward to varied terrain at this event: open jarrah forest, areas of dense grass trees, some patches of thick vegetation, steeper hillsides with rock detail, and open fast-running areas. Being a middle distance event, the hard courses have an emphasis on detailed navigation in technical terrain.

Information about the event can be found on Eventor, and an Information flyer is available. Entries for the Championships have closed.
You can still Enter on the Day, but not as a Championship competitor.
The start list for Championship entrants will be posted on Eventor as soon as possible after entries close.

Registration: Championship entrants must have already entered. EOD (enter on the day) registration is available 9:30 - 11:00 am. Please bring cash in case credit card payment is not available.
Courses for EOD: Courses 3, 5, 6 and 7, (as described in the Information flyer) are available.
Start times: From 9:30 am. EODs may start when all Championship competitors have started, probably from about 10:15 am.

Courses close: 1 pm. Please be back at the assembly area by this time even if you have not completed your course.
Bring: Water (none provided), SI stick and compass (loans available); sunscreen; insect repellent, leg protection. Eye protection recommended for competitors on courses 1-5, due to the areas of mature grass trees.
Facilities: Toilet.
Directions to the event are in Eventor. Please slow down on approach to the assembly area (final 400m), as competitors will be using this road on their way to the start and during their courses.

Please note: Please comply with any COVID-19 restrictions in place at the time of the event and practise social distancing and good hand hygiene.

About SOL events: more information, including details of the course you should enter to gain OY points, is available here.
