Christmas Tree Creek

The very popular Women’s Training Day returns! It’s always been a lot of fun, combining some bush training with some socialising.

When: Sunday 11th July, start time 9.30 am sharp.
Where: Christmas Tree Creek in John Forrest National Park.

Activities: We will be dividing you into two groups based on your level of orienteering experience, so hopefully there will be something at an appropriate level to develop your skills.

Lunch: We will book to have lunch in a local cafe. OWA is under-writing this for OWA members, so unless you have expensive tastes you won’t be out of pocket.

Directions: From Midland take Morrison Road and after crossing Great Northern Highway on the Midland by-pass, continue up the hill almost to the end of Morrison Road. Turn left into Pechey Road and continue ~2.2 km to the event area on the right (we will have a sign up). To park you will probably do best to continue past the event site to a safe turning spot (about 300m further on), then park on the north side of the road.
