Events will be happening this weekend as planned. We have extended the Eventor registration period until 12 noon on Saturday for the MetrO event in Perth so that as many people as possible can register in advance.
The maps are printed and we have a tent organised as rain is expected. Unfortunately the tent is for the benefit of the computer rather than orienteers - social distancing requirements mean that you can't shelter in the tent. Sorry.
Everyone needs to have a mask with them to wear before and after the event. It's up to you whether you need to wear your mask on the course or not - the guidelines are that you don't need a mask if you're taking part in vigorous exercise. If you're walking around the course, it's probably not vigorous. We are very visible, especially if wearing an orienteering shirt - please follow the rules so we don't get into trouble.
