Come enjoy your weekend by the river, Register here! >>

It’s not often that MetrO events have a grandstand view, but this week the North Fremantle event starts from the stands at Gilbert Fraser Reserve. You will have a prime view of the Swan River and a couple of cricket matches, not to mention the likes of tRicky and Liam steaming into the Finish.

Long course runners (and anyone who cares to visit after the event) will also have a great view over the river and Fremantle from Mt Lyell in the north of the map.

The area includes bushland, sandy beaches, high cliffs, hidden parks, and World War 2 guns. Noel has even included the spot where he got married!

The Grandstand Bar will be open for refreshments after the event.

Pre-entry to the event is preferred, go to the Event page. If you do not have an Eventor account, click on ‘Create Account’ and follow the prompts.

Three different distances will be on offer: Short 2-3 km, Medium 4-6 km and Long 7-8 km. So whether you're new and trying orienteering for the first time or a seasoned pro, there's something for you.

Pre-registration is encouraged. Please register now through Eventor by Friday 15 January at 23:59. If you forget to pre-enter, you will still be able enter when you arrive at the event on the day. Just don't forget!

This event will be using SI TIMING so bring your SI card if you have one, or pick up your loan card when you arrive (at no extra cost).
