Star swamp add2020Saturday 21st November

Come enjoy a variety of terrain this Saturday by navigating your way around the bushland, streets, parks and hills in the neighbourhoods around Sir Frederick Samson Reserve.

The event in Samson will start from the north end of Sir Frederick Samson Memorial Reserve. It is a nice shaded area with a small playground nearby. There is verge parking only along Sellenger Avenue and adjacent streets. All courses will include nice bush tracks through the reserve. Three or four points may be difficult to reach with a pram, but there are enough other points to collect (though probably at the expense of extra distance).

Three different distances will be on offer: Short 2-3 km, Medium 4-6 km and Long 7-8 km. So whether you're new and trying orienteering for the first time or a seasoned pro, there's something for you.

Pre-registration is encouraged. Please register now through Eventor bu Thursday 19 November at 23:59:59. If you forget to pre-enter, you will still be able enter when you arrive at the event on the day.

This event will be using SI TIMING so bring your SI card if you have one, or pick up your loan card when you arrive (at no extra cost).
