The Western Nomads are WA's representatives in the National Orienteering League (NOL), Australia's premier orienteering competition. Individual and team points are accumulated based on performance in four rounds of races held annually across the country.
How to Become a Western Nomad
Anyone keen to join in Nomads training can contact Rachel West and have their name added to an email list which notifies of any upcoming training sessions.
If you think you would like to become a Western Nomads team member you need to submit a nomination to the Western Nomads Manager. Nominations and a record of results of nominees will be taken to Council. Once ratified by Council, members of the squad will then be announced. For each NOL round selected Western Nomads may be eligible for travel funding if they are competing in elite or junior elite categories and meet the relevant criteria.
