LOCATION	Avon Valley National Park; 55 km NE of Perth, 20 km SW of Toodyay

MAP INFO	1:15000 and 1:10000. A totally updated and improved map using LIDAR to ISOM 2017-2 specifications.
TERRAIN	A mix of granite, gullies and spurs in mainly runnable forest. First used for the Australian Champs in 1988, this fabulous area has been begging for a return to the national competition arena.
OLD MAP	Avon Valley 1988
NOONGAR	Gogulgar is the Noongar name for the Avon River. Werdin is the Noongar term for valley. Avon Valley / Gogulgar Werdin is in the boodja (country) of the Whadjak Noongar people, close to their border with the Ballardong Noongar people.
