NOONGAR

Sadly, the Noongar name has been lost. We have decided to give it the Noongar description ‘Boyayambeliin’, which means Place of Flat Rocks, for reasons which will become obvious once you go there.

Frazzle Rock / Boyayambeliin is in the boodja (country) of the Ballardong Noongar people, who lived in the broad Avon Valley, east of the escarpment.
