NOONGAR

Bitidiin means ‘Place of Ants’.
(But don’t worry, despite the name, we’ve been unable to find unusual quantities of ants at this location!)

Peterdine/Bitidiin is in the boodja (country) of the Ballardong Noongar people, who lived in the broad Avon Valley, east of the escarpment.
