LOCATION	Spencers Brook; 80 km E of Perth, 10 km SW of Northam

MAP INFO	1:10000 and 1:7500. A totally updated and improved map using LIDAR to ISOM 2017-2 specifications.
TERRAIN	Mainly open and fast farmland littered with complex and challenging granite in sloping to hilly terrain. This area was first used in Easter 1993.
OLD MAP	Peterdine 1993
NOONGAR	Bitidiin means ‘Place of Ants’. (But don’t worry, despite the name, we’ve been unable to find unusual quantities of ants at this location!) Peterdine/Bitidiin is in the boodja (country) of the Ballardong Noongar people, who lived in the broad Avon Valley, east of the escarpment.
